Online Safety Update

I have been asked a lot of questions by parents over the last few weeks about children's use of online resources and the games that some children play online. This is an important issue for all of our children as we know that understanding the online world, that is changing quicker than we can keep up with, can be challenging.

 

Over the next few weeks you should receive a communication from the school detailing how you can access a set of online training resources if you are interested in learning more about this issue. You can also find the link to this online training from our new section of the school website (find it in the parents section) all about keeping children safe online. We are hoping to work towards getting our online safety award as a school and we think that the more people that have access to this training, the safer our children will be. I hope you find it useful in supporting your child, but in the meantime please contact me if there is a particular website or online activity you are concerned about and I'll do my best to add the information.
