Victorian day in Year 4

As part of their Riotous Royalty topic, Year 4 stepped back in time to the Victorian era today for a chance to experience what life would have been like in 1888.  They found themselves faced with strict teachers who demanded they followed school rules such as,'stand if an adult enters the room,' and,'place your hands behind your back if you are not writing!'  Life was certainly very different! The children had the opportunity to examine artefacts from the era and thoroughy enjoyed immersing themselves in traditional playground games (although it was very chilly!)
