Catch-up Curriculum
Catch-up Curriculum
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent school closures, the Government has recognised that many children will have suffered 'lost learning' as a result. To that end, they have set up a ring-fenced, catch up funding budget allocation to all schools for the academic year 2020-2021. This budget is specifically aimed at those children whom school identifies as having gaps in their learning.
'The mental, physical, and economic impacts of Covid-19 will have affected every family and school in different ways, and the strains of lockdown may have created new barriers to learning, or exacerbated existing challenges for children.’ The EEF guide to supporting school planning- A tiered approach to 2020-21 academic year planning.
Please read the information below which gives details of how we allocate the funding.
