Dear Parents and carers,                                                                 

 

We are in school today for INSET and I thought I would put out a quick note with some reminders about next week and some new dates.

 

Next week, Year 5 will be out on their residential adventure and engaging in all sorts of outdoor activities throughout their time away. They will get back to school on Wednesday afternoon.

 

Thursday is our Hello Yellow day where we raise awareness of child mental health. Please add something yellow to your child’s uniform if they would like to.

 

The new PTA have already been busy and they have now booked the 21^st November for a school disco. If you are new to the school, you need to know that we do this in two halves (one for KS1 and Year R and the other for KS2) more information will be coming soon.

 

On the 25^th October, the PTA will be holding a non-uniform day, uniform sale and bake sale. I will add it to the calendar.

 

Thank you for all of the food you donated at Harvest time. It has gone to the Andover Food Bank and we know that it will make a real difference!

 

Finally, we have been speaking to the children this week about walking in the corridors and politeness to each other and adults. I know you do this already, but please back up our school messages regarding saying please, saying thank you, and opening doors for people, letting others go first and using kind words to each other.
