    28th November 2025

    Dear Parents and carers,

As advent starts next week, we are all looking forward to making our Christingles and the children will celebrating with our Christingle Service on Tuesday afternoon.

    A Message from our PTA

    Christmas Raffle Support Needed!

The Christmas raffle will be launching soon, and the PTA are looking for support with prizes.

    Any donations are greatly appreciated!

If you’re able to contribute, please contact Hayley at ClatfordPTA@outlook.com

    Year 6 Trip

Year 6 looked the part this week as they were evacuated (to the Steam Museum) and took part in several World War 2 workshops. Thank you to everyone who supplied your child with a costume and thank you to our parent helpers.

    SENCO Cuppa

Mrs. Armstrong has arranged for the school nurse to come in for her next SENCO cuppa. This will take place on 4th December at 2:30pm and anyone in the school is welcome to attend.

    Christmas Jumpers

The children will be allowed to come to school in their Christmas Jumpers on the last day of this school term. They will also be making festive hats in their classes that morning. This should make for a wonderful celebration as we eat our Christmas dinner together on the last day of term.

    Afterschool Clubs

A reminder that afterschool clubs will be running up to and including Friday 19th December. The afterschool club list for the Spring term will be coming out this evening at 6pm so please look out for the email from Arbor. We have some exciting new clubs starting after Christmas so please have a look.

Carol Concert – ‘Joyn us in Joy’

The theme of our carol concert this year is ‘joy’ and we would love for as many of you as possible to join us on the playground for some singing. There will be a change from last year, as it will now start slightly earlier and we will aim to finish by 3:20pm as the school day finishes. We are expecting to open our gates for entry at around 2:40pm.

    Christmas Post Box

On Monday we will have our Christmas post box in reception. If your child would like to send Christmas cards, please make sure names and classes of the children receiving the cards are on the envelope.

    May peace be with you,

    Mr M Kirk
