Dear Parents and carers,

 

Friday was our ‘Time to Shine’ day so a big thank you to those of you who sent your child to school in something bright to add to their uniform. I know the JRSOs have said they have had some entries to the poster competition and would welcome any more that come this week, with a deadline of Friday. Prizes to be won!

 

School Caretaking

Our search for a new caretaker (to join our team from January) continues. The role is for 3 hours a day, with mornings preferred although times can be flexible. If you know of anyone who may be interested, please get in contact and let us know.

 

Year 6 Trip

Year 6 have their school trip to the Steam Museum this week, which builds on their learning about World War 2. I was lucky enough to hear some of their incredible World War 2 poems last week and I have to say I was very impressed.

 

Year 4 Planting

Thank you to Year 4, who took the trees they had planted a year ago in our school garden, and replanted them at Bury Hill Meadows where they can continue to grow. A big thank you to them for their hard work on this important project and a thank you to Andover Trees who organised this opportunity.

 

SENCO Cuppa

Mrs. Armstrong has arranged for the school nurse to come in for her next SENCO cuppa. This will take place on 4^th December at 2:30pm and anyone in the school is welcome to attend.
