Welcome back to school after half-term. The children seem to have come back well-rested and ready to learn.

 

Book Fair

Next week, the book fair will be open in school on Wednesday, Thursday and the following Monday from the end of the day until 4pm. All are welcome. Card payments will now be accepted.

 

Nativities in Year R, Year 1 and Year 2

I had already noted our nativity week, but I have now added dates and times for the nativities to the list at the bottom of this newsletter. We know you will all be looking forward to joining us for our important celebration of the Christmas story. Parent letters to follow.

 

Open Morning

We have another open morning next week on Wednesday, welcoming potential parents for the September 2026 intake.

 

Flu Immunisations

On Monday, for those people who have signed up, we have our flu immunisation programme occurring in school. We hope that it helps in keeping everyone safe during the colder parts of the year.

 

Ufton Court

Year 4 are vising Ufton Court next week to support with their History learning about invaders and settlers.

 

PTA Disco

Next week on Thursday night is the PTA disco. I look forward to seeing the children’s best dance moves as they have a great night, whilst raising money for our school PTA.

 

Anti-Bullying Week

Next week is our school anti-bullying week. This year the theme is ‘Power for Good,’ which fits in brilliantly with this term’s worship theme where we have been learning how to show ‘love in action’ around our school.
