Dear Parents and carers,

This week started with a Year 4 trip to Ufton Court, where they got to spend the day learning about Viking settlements and their way of life. Year 4 have also been learning about digital music this term and I had a chance to catch up with their music teacher earlier in the week, who was telling me how impressed she had been by all the music they had been creating on their digital devices.

Nativity rehearsals seem to be going well and if the enthusiasm during rehearsals is anything to go by, we are all in for a treat!

On the Wednesday of our last school week this term, we would love you to join us for some carols and songs after school. On that day we will open the green gates at 2.45pm and the concert will probably finish at around 3:45pm. There will also be drinks sold by the Clatford PTA as well as some tree decorations and cakes sold by Year 6.

We are holding it outside to make sure that we can include as many people as possible in this end of term event. However, if your child is unable to remain at school until 3:45pm that day, because you have already have engagements elsewhere, please could you let us know in advance so we know who to keep in class and who to send home at the end of the day.

We are of course hoping that everyone will be able join us, but please respond to the Google Form below to let us know if your child cannot attend this event:

Please see the message below from Mrs. Armstrong:

“Is your school-aged child experiencing unpredictable tantrums?

Are you noticing unacceptable, aggressive or physical behaviour which you are unable to explain or control?

Come and meet the experts from Primary Behaviour Service at the Cuppa with the Senco Thursday 12th December 3.30-4.30. They will be sharing tips and tricks for managing challenging behaviour at home.

So that we have an idea about numbers for Cuppa with Senco, please follow the link below to let us know that you are intending to come.

The deadline for the Pantomime payment is today. Please can I ask all payments are made by the end of the day. If your child is in Year R, 1, 2, please can you return the lunch order form on Monday.

Hoping you all have a good weekend. We will see you all on Tuesday after the INSET day on Monday.
