A day out at the Fish Farm

Year 4 have had a wonderful day out at a local fish farm.  Discovering how fish are farmed, how they are released into the river, understanding pheasant farming and even how to gut a fish! They were truly fabulous. I was so proud of the way that respected the world around them.  They were rewarded with a beautiful selection of birds from herons, to cuckoos, buzzards and even a pair of gadwalls, all enjoy the Spring sunshine. What a wonderful day!
