Founders Day

This week, on Thursday, 22 February 2018 the children of Clatford School were allowed to wear their Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Beavers, Cubs, or Scouts uniform to school. The reason for this was that it was founder’s day (Lord Baden Powell’s birthday, starter of scouting guiding,) The children loved it and they were happy to share their opinions. Here is what some of them said:

“ I Loved It. It Was Really Fun Being Able To Express Your Inner Self By What Clubs You Do Outside Of School And I Loved Being Able To Dress Differently.” Lola

“I Liked Being Able To Show That Even Though We All Do Different Clubs Outside School We Can Still Come Together As A School In A Different Way.” Finn

“It Is Very Unusual But I Loved It All The Same.” Evelyn

As you can see the children really enjoyed the experience and many hope to do it again.
