Miss Bridgman Braves the Chop for Charity
Many of you may have noticed that over half term I changed my hair style! Not only is it a different colour it’s 16 inches shorter!
I decided about a year ago that I was going to donate my hair to the Little Princess Trust. The Little Princess Trust provides free real hair wigs to children and young people, up to 24 years, who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions. The work that they do to help children feel and look their best through an awful time in their life is truest commendable. I wanted to do my bit and help in any way I could.
I set my date, picked my hairdresser, told my close friends and family and then braved the chop!
I donated 14 inches of hair which will be used to make a wig and raised £100 in cash donations!
If you’re feeling brave like me and want to donate your hair, or you have already done so. Come and talk to me!!
