Day 2 - the afternoon

So a great afternoon had by all. Group 2 went sailing and had a brilliant time out on the water! The conditions proved tricky though, as we battled with a thick mist coming in over the sea. It was great fun steering the boat and we loved learning about how to tack.

Group 1 went on the giant swing, which was awesome and went really high. It really got your tummy as you pulled the rope! Some of us screamed so loudly!  We even practiced shouting out our lines as we dropped!
We then played aeroball, which is a trampoline where you try and score a goal in the jets around you, in teams. We loved this and had a great laugh. Mrs lundie and Sophie won the game- even Mr Hopkins had a bounce!

Group 2 went off to the quad bikes, it was not as fast as we had all hoped- but we understood it was ‘safety first’. We then did the giant swing, which we too thought was great fun. We all had several goes. We really had to work as a team to pull the ropes and hoist each pair up to the top.

Tea went down well as it was chicken nuggets or lasagne and potato wedges. We were all a bit tired by the end of the day, but managed to survive a game of capture the flag, along with the longest line game, before heading back for a shower and bed.

Mrs Lundie and the staff have been so proud of us all- we’ve really tried everything and been really caring and supportive of each other. We even made a team music video- a little improvised but a great laugh.... watch this space!

Missing you all, but having a great time. Sill keep you all updated about tomorrow’s activities . X
