Take One Picture
Over the last half term, the whole of Clatford School have been working together to create a wonderful display. The display was based on a picture from the National Gallery by a man called Joseph Wright of Derby, painted in the 1700's. Each year group has explored this picture, through a key question. These have varied from Year R exploring how the world looks different in moonlight and sunlight, all the way to Year 6 who have been exploring the concept of keeping birds in cages. These key questions have enabled the children to create wonderful multi-curricular work, varying from art to science to literacy. On Thursday the 12th July, the work was pulled together to create this fantastic display. If you missed the display, lots of the work will still be available to be seen throughout the school next half term.
