Year 5 at Winchester Science Centre

On Friday the 28th of May, as part of their study of the Earth, Sun and Moon, Year 5 went on a visit to Winchester Science Centre. They saw two shows at the planetarium and had the opportunity to ask questions of 2 working astronomers. The children were particularly interested in learning about the scale of different bodies in the universe; at what black holes were and also in wearing an astronaut's space-suit.
