Year Four's Sustainability adventures!

This half term Year Four have been investigating the topic of Sustainability.  Over the last two weeks we have looked at the immediate use of wind power at Bursledon Windmill.  We have created our own windmills and looked at all the different ways that we could help to make our own homes more sustainable. We then travelled to the Sustainability Centre in West Meon, where we learnt to make clay ovens, create wooden tiles and sand bag arches, as well as meeting a lovely family living off the grid in a beautiful yurt.  Two fabulous fun and informative days out.
