Remote Learning and Covid-19
Covid-19 has meant that we all have to think differently about how we support children with their learning. To ensure that we provide a highly effective remote learning offer for our children in the instance that they are required to self isolate, we have developed a plan that will support children and parents with immediate and daily learning. Therefore reducing, as much as possible, the impact of self-isolation and the requirement for home learning. We will deliver remote learning through Google Classrooms and Tapestry. It will include regular feedback to children both written and verbal, some video content and activities that need to be completed daily alongside some extra activities to extend the range of subjects that children are able to access at home. This approach was developed following our consultation with parents. Our remote learning plan will be reviewed regularly.
Within school we will continue to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum in line with Government Guidance. We follow the Governments Full Opening of Schools Guidance to ensure that we create a Covid secure environment for everyone. We regularly carry out health and safety Risk Assessments to support us in this process. We will continue to do this until the pandemic is over.
