Wellbeing Activities and Ideas
"We can't control what happens to us, but we can choose how we respond"
Ideas for Transition
We are entering a time of change and preparing to take our next steps. This can give us different feelings. We have included some activities from the PSHE Association and Mentally Healthy Schools that you might like to try together, to celebrate your achievements and discuss and prepare for September.
We have also added some wellbeing activities you could try over the summer and some information on supporting returning to school. Take care everyone!
An activity to celebrate how amazing you are
It is always important to look after our emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing but when we are isolated from each other it can be even more tricky to do that than usual. Please check out some of the links below and try and make time for the wellbeing of the whole family when staying at home. If you have a look, there are some great daily and weekly activities available for just checking in on how everyone is feeling at the moment or finding time to keep minds still and calm when they may be feeling busy. We hope you find some of these useful.

This week we are thinking about resilience. We have added some guidance and practical activities recommended by the Mentally Healthy Schools Team and Anna Freud Centre, that might be useful during this time. With change and unsettled times, building and nurturing resilience feels important and can help us to deal with our emotions and bounce back from difficulties. Something we can develop and build, both as adults and children.
