SEND
Special Educational Needs & Disability Information
We are proud to be an inclusive school, providing a caring and supportive environment in which every child is valued, regardless of need, and where all children are encouraged to reach their full potential.
Mrs Helen Armstrong is our Senco and she liaises with children, parents, teaching staff and external agencies to enable the best possible care and support for all children on our SEN register. Our SEN Information Report, which sets out our provision for pupils with additional educational needs, can be found below. If you are a prospective parent and wish to discuss your child's needs with Mrs Armstrong, please email her directly or contact the school office.

Inclusion
Equal Opportunities and Inclusion for All
We are fully committed to providing a fully accessible environment that values and includes all pupils, staff, parents and visitors regardless of their educational, physical, social and cultural needs. We are further committed to challenging attitudes about disability and accessibility and to developing a culture of awareness, tolerance and inclusion. We want children to feel valued, be secure and confident in themselves. The school's equality policies are available on request.
Additional Needs
Clatford is proud to be an inclusive school. We provide Quality First Teaching for our children, and for those who require extra support our Class Teachers and Learning Support Assistants work closely with our Senco to identify and respond to learning needs. Children with specific areas of need may require targeted interventions and an Individual Education Programme of SMART targets. These are written in conjunction with parents and shared and reviewed termly (or more often as required).
