17th January 2025
Dear Parents and carers,
This week in school, our worships have been about respect and the golden rule. The children had some great ideas about how to treat other people in the ways that they would want to be treated themselves.
A shout out to the courageous advocacy of Ellie in Year 4 who inspired her class to run laps round the field on the last day of the Autumn term. Her hard work, tenacity and courage earned £450.00 for the Countess of Brecknock charity. A huge well done to all of Year 4, and their supporters, for raising some money and making a difference.
I had the pleasure of taking Year 5 to the Winchester Science Museum this week, where we asked and answered all sorts of scientific questions. In the morning we took a trip through the solar system, exploring the surfaces of all the different planets and in the afternoon we learned about the Hubble Telescope.
Wishing you all a restful weekend,
Yours sincerely,
Mr M Kirk
