  • Mental Health

    Mon 11 Feb 2019 Mrs Oliver-Hawkins
Last week was mental health awareness week, and many activities were undertaken across the school to promote this. Children were given lots of opportunities to discuss with each other how they could keep themselves healthy.  This included brainstorming ideas on, 'how to cheer myself up when I am sad'. We also tried plenty of growth mind-set activities  to remind ourselves that making mistakes is a good thing, and it is how can grow and learn.  Tongue twisters was a particular favourite in Year 4!
  • Closure due to Snow

    Fri 01 Feb 2019 M Kirk
Despite some staff making it in this morning, and after very much hoping to be open, we have had to take a late decision to shut the school due to our growing concerns about children's safety on, and in getting to, our school premises. I am aware that there were some parents who had left already this morning before the message went out, for which we can only apologise. We hope you all stay safe today and we look forward to seeing you all on Monday!
