  • Much Loved Dinner Lady Retires

Fri 29 Apr 2016 Mr Kirk

Mrs Bachelor was a much loved Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant.  She came to Clatford Primary School nearly 28 years ago as a volunteer and then stayed.  She has welcomed and cared for a thousand children during her time at the school.  The children, staff and Governors celebrated her achievement and hard work with cards, presents and singing her favourite song.  Everyone wished her a very happy rest and hoped she would enjoy sitting in her garden on her new bench.

Miss Rice the Headteacher said “Mrs Bachelor has shown such dedication to the school and the children in her care.  It is amazing the significant contribution that she has made in helping so many children.  Many past generations of children sent her best wishes.  She will be missed by everyone.”
