  As we are unable to host a traditional open morning for prospective parents this year, we have created a virtual tour of the school for you to watch. • BIG SOUP 2020

  Harvest 2020 certainly seemed very different in many ways.  However, the gardens had produced beautiful vegetables and Year 4 knew that they still wanted to use this wonderful produce to create soup for our local community.  Normally, we would have invited families into school to join us and whilst we miss seeing everyone in our building we knew there was a way to share our lovely produce.

   

  So .…. Year 4 got busy! They still made their chef's hats, bunting and menu cards. They still harvested the wonderful produce….prepared it (learning valuable chopping skills).... bagged all the wonderful ingredients up….Then they went home, donned their aprons and created a wonderful soup for their families to enjoy.  How fabulous! Thank you so much to those of you that have sent photos in of your soup in action...it certainly brought a massive smile to my face!
